Moldova comes 129th in the FIFA rankings released on September 12. The national football team of Moldova slipped six spots in the world country rankings following the 1-1 draw with Andorra and the 0-4 defeat suffered to England, IPN reports.

Among Moldova’s adversaries in the qualification campaign, England continues to have the best position – 17th. Montenegro takes the 26th position, while Ukraine – 27th. Poland ranks 65th, while San Marino comes last – 207th. Spain continues to hold the lead, followed by Argentina and Germany.

In the next encounters, Moldova meets San Marino at home on October 11, and Montenegro away on October 15.
