Moldova’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, Ana Odobescu, didn’t qualify for the final that will take place in Tel Aviv on May 18. In the May 16 semifinal, Romania also failed to qualify for the final, IPN reports.
The finalists that became known in the evening of May 16 are Macedonia, the Netherlands, Albania, Sweden, Russia, Azerbaijan, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, and Malta. Greece, Belarus, Serbia, Cyprus, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Australia, Iceland, San Marino and Slovenia are the countries that reached the final as a result of the first semifinal of May 14.
Moldova has taken part in this song contest since 2005.
