Weather forecasters issued a yellow code advisory for heat. An exceptional danger of fires, class V, is faced on a large territory of the country, IPN has learned from the State Hydrometeorology Service.
On August 19-21, daytime temperatures will rise to 33 degrees Celsius and over. Imprudence when using open fire during hot weather can lead to forest and vegetation fires.
The temperatures are expected to decrease towards the end of this week, to under 30 degrees Celsius. Insignificant precipitation is forecast in northern Moldova.
