Moldova-EU energy cooperation discussed in Brussels

Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat has traveled to Brussels to continue discussions with European officials on Moldova's European integration agenda and cooperation with the EU in the energy area, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Government said in a press release that, in a meeting with Gunther Oettinger, European Commissioner for Energy, Vlad Filat and his interlocutor addressed issues concerning the Moldova-EU cooperation in the area of energy, noting the progresses made and analyzing the prospects. Another subject discussed was the progress of reforms in Moldova, with the interlocutors highlighting the need to continue them as a core component of Moldova's democratization and European integration processes. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Iurie Leanca, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration; and Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Lazar, Minister of Economy.
