Moldova, Estonia to reciprocally protect investments

The legislature on February 24 ratified the agreement on the reciprocal promotion and protection of investments between the Government of Moldova and the Government of Estonia, Info-Prim Neo reports. Under the agreement, each party will promote the investments of the representatives of the other party on its territory, in accordance with the legislation. If one of the parties accepts investments on its territory, it will issue the necessary permits, licenses and contracts and will provide the required technical, commercial or administrative assistance. The agreement will be valid for a period of five years and will be extended for another ten years on expiration, if the parties do not object.
