The national football team of Moldova continues its good performance at the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament. Moldova drew 1-1 with Poland in Warsaw and keeps the chances of qualifying for the final tournament, IPN reports.
Ion Nicolaescu opened the score in the 26th minute following a corner kick from captain Vadim Rață. The Poles tied in the 53rd minute through Karol Swiderski. Moldova manager Sergiu Kleshchenko used the following players: Railean, Ryabchuk, Baboglo, Marandici, Crăciun, Revenco (S.Plătica 70), Moțpan (M.Plătica 70), Cojocaru (Damașcan 60), Rață (S.Cojocari 79), Postolachi, Nicolaescu (Bogaciuc 79).
Moldova ranks fourth in the group with nine points accumulated in six matches. Poland has 10 points obtained in seven matches. Albania is leading with 13 points (6 matches). The Czech Republic has 11 points (6 parties). On November 17, Moldova meets Albania in Chisinau, while on November 20 it faces the Czech Republic in Olomouc.
