The national football team of Moldova tied 0-0 with Belarus in Minsk in the UEFA Nations League. In the second half, both of the teams hit the goal one time, IPN reports.
Moldova scored five points after four matches played and has slim chances of qualifying for the semifinals of the competition. Luxemburg is the group leader with nine points, while Belarus has eight points.
“We are disappointed. The situation now depends not only on us. We can blame the defeat we suffered to Luxemburg,” Moldova manager Alexandru Spiridon told a news conference.
In Minsk, Spiridon used the following players: Koshelev, Ryabchuk, Epureanu, Posmac, Jardan, Carp, Gațcan, Antoniuc (Sandu 65th min.), Ioniță, Gînsari (Dedov 79th), Damașcan (Boiciuc 72nd).
