The national men’s volleyball team of Moldova scored the second victory in the qualifying competition of the 2019 European Championship. Moldova lost to Ireland 3-0, IPN reports.
The match lasted for only 67 minutes, Moldova easily winning the first two sets 25-12 and 25-11. In the third set, the team trained by Artur Romascan emerged victorious by 25-22. Mihai Voleanskii and Sergey Predius scored by 16 points.
Moldova is to play two more matches against Slovakia. On August 22, Moldova plays away, while on August 26 at the FMF arena in Ciorescu.
