Moldova was trounced by Spain 0-10 in the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 qualifying round in Madrid, IPN reports.
After the first half, the team trained by Eduard Blănuță was led by 0-6. The goals for the hosts were scored by Bonmari (7, 30), Hermoso (13, 25, 87-pen), Caldentey (28-pen), Prisăcari (45+2-own goal), Putellas (57), Guijarro (71) and Navarro (84).
Moldova will yet play two matches away – against the Czech Republic on December 1 and against Azerbaijan on February 1. In the rankings, Moldova takes the last spot with three points. Leading Spain has 16 points.
