The national women’s football team of Moldova lost away to Romania’s squad 1-3 within the qualifying competition of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, IPN reports.
Andreea Voicu opened the score in the 27th minute, but Eugenia Miron tied at the start of the second half. In only a minute, the same Voicu scored her second goal, in the 59th minute, while Miron scored an own goal.
After four matches played, Moldova has zero points and ranks last in the group. On April 6 next year, the team trained by Alina Stetsenko will meet at home Italy.
