The national U-21 team of Moldova suffered the sixth consecutive defeat in the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying competition. The team trained by Danut Oprea lost away to Croatia 0-4, IPN reports.
Everton halfback Nikola Vlasic scored two goals, alongside Marin Jakolis and Fran Karacic.
Moldova has only three points after seven matches played and has slim chances of avoiding the last but one position in the group. In September, Moldova will play Belarus and San Marino at home, while in October it will meet the Czech Republic away.
