The national Under-19 football team lost another game of the international tournament “Moldovan Football Federation's Cup”. Moldova were beaten by Azerbaijan 3-2, Info-Prim Neo reports. Azerbaijan striker Magsad Isaev scored a hat-trick. The goals for Moldova were scored by Dan Spataru and Dumitru Ionas, of Zimbru Chisinau. Coach Serghei Dubrovin used the following players: Horosilov, Dulghieru, Petcov, Ojog (Statnic, 58), Sesnitan (Ciofu, 34), Ionas, Poiarcov (Granciar, 35), Apostolov (Volosin, 57), Bolsacov, Spataru, and Mihailiuc. Elsewhere, Romania defeated Belarus 1-0. Romania now have six points and and are close to winning the trophy. Belarus and Azerbaijan have by three points and share the second and third positions. Moldova rank last with no point. The tournament ends on June 12 with the last two encounters: Romania – Azerbaijan, and Moldova – Belarus.
