Moldova ranked 22nd in the Global Open Data Index 2015, climbing 21 spots from 2014. The index assesses the state of open government data around the world. This year the list includes 122 countries, IPN reports.
Moldova is followed by advanced e-transformation countries such as the Republic of Korea (23rd), Austria (24th) and Singapore and (25th). The rankings are topped by Taiwan. The UK and Denmark come next.
For the first time Moldova was included in the Global Open Data Index in 2013, when it ranked 19th, being outstripped by such countries as Romania, Portugal and France.
