Sixteen singers and bands will compete in the final of the national Eurovision preselection this evening, March 15. The winner will represent Moldova at the 59th Eurovision Song Contest that will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, on May 6-10, IPN reports.
The 16 competitors are: Boris Covali with the song “Perfect day”; Ana Cernicova with “Divine love”; Diana Brescan with “Hallelujah”; Flux Light with “Never stop no”; Felicia Dunaf with the song “The Way I Do”; Doinita Gherman with “Energy”; Tatiana Heghea with “I'm yours”; Cristina Scarlat with “Wild Soul”; Mikaella with “Follow your dreams”; Curly Your with “Recovery”; Lucia S with “Frozen”; Edict with “Forever”; Aurel Chirtoaca with “Tracks of love”; Diana Staver with “One and all”; Paralela 47 with “Fragments”, and “Margarita & Metafora with “Dream”.
The winner will be the competitor who will poll most of the points as a result of the televoting and the votes given by the jury.
Moldova will compete in the first Eurovision semifinal on May 6. It is the tenth time that Moldova is taking part in this contest. Last year Aliona Moon ranked 11th with the song “A million”. Eurovision Song Contest 2013 was won by Danish singer Emmelie de Forest with the song Only Teardrops.
