The Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing an economic mission to the 134th edition of the Canton Import & Export Fair. The event will take place from October 15 to November 5 in Guangzhou, China.

Boris Foca, the president of the organization, told a press conference that this time the economic mission will be bigger and will include three separate groups.

The 2023 Canton Import & Export Fair brings together 25 thousand companies on an area of 1.2 million square meters.

The first phase of the exhibition will be held from October 15 to 19, where machines and processing elements, agricultural machines, industrial automation, smart production, and chemical products will be presented. The second phase starts on October 23 and lasts until October 27. During these days, construction and decoration materials, bathroom equipment, furniture, kitchen, ceramics for daily use will be presented. The third phase will take place from October 31 to November 5. It will showcase personal care appliances, bath products, medicines, health products and medical devices. Businesses can already register at the exhibition and choose the respective section.

In the second half of October, the Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize an economic mission with winemakers in the Macau region, in which a maximum of 10 companies will participate. Economic agents will meet with the largest retailers in the region, owners of store and restaurant chains, as well as local sommeliers. “We hope that this first step will be auspicious and that we will use all the opportunities to increase the exports of the Republic of Moldova”, said Boris Foca.
