The national football team of Moldova lost the friendly match against Sweden 0-1. The only goal in the match played in Doha was scored by the halfback of Spartak Moscow Jordan Larsson in the 32nd minute, IPN reports.
Moldova manager Engin Firat used the following players: Rusu, Prepelița, Bogdan, Armaș (c), Cociuc (Anton 58th min.), Dros, Taras (Cojocari 46th), Platica (Spataru 72nd), Suvorov (Graur 58th), Ambros (Boichuk 46th), Rața (Patraș 72nd).
“We had a good play in the second half when we were turned down a clear penalty. We were again disadvantaged by referees. I’m anyway satisfied with this match as the players gained experience,”’ Engin Firat told a news conference.
Moldova plays the next exhibition match in Chisinau on March 31, against Russia, which also qualified for the UEFA EURO 2020.
