Moldova suffered a defeat in the second match of the second qualifying round of the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup, IPN reports.
Moldova was beaten away by double world champion Spain 2-7. The goals for Moldova were scored by Cristian Obadă and Sergiu Tacot. Moldova plays the next match away in Cyprus on March 5.
The winners of the 12 qualifying groups and four best teams ranked second will qualify for the elite stage. The other eight teams that will finish second in the group will compete in the playoffs.
