The national football team of Moldova finished last in group 3 of the UEFA Nations League. Moldova lost to Kosovo 0-1 away, IPN reports.
Striker Ion Nicolaescu missed a huge chance of scoring from a kick by Danu Spătaru in the 19th minute. The Kosovar team scored the victory goal in the 31st minute. After a fixed phase, the ball reached Dinamo Zagreb fullback Lirim Kastrati, who managed to cheat goalkeeper Stanislav Namashko. In the second half, Moldova missed again a great chance in the last minute through new entrant Alexandr Belousov.
