The national football team of Moldova suffered the fifth defeat in the qualifying competition of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Moldova lost to Italy 1-3 in a match played in Vadul lui Voda town, IPN reports.
Italy opened the score in the eighth minute through Cimini. In the 30th minute, Kolesnichenko directed unsuccessfully the ball to the own gate, taking the score to 0-2. The goal of honor for Moldova was scored by Toma before the break. In the second half, Gacinti scored for Italy.
After five matches played, Italy has five victories and leads in the group. Moldova scored no point. On April 10, the team trained by Alina Stetsenco plays Romania’s squad at home.
