The women’s futsal team of Moldova lost the first qualifier of the UEFA Women’s Futsal Euro 2019 0-1 to the similar squad of Armenia, IPN reports.

The only goal was scored by Ani Karapetyan in the fourth minute. On August 23, Moldova plays Belarus also at the Arena FMF in Ciorescu.

The group winner will qualify for the next stage where it will play in a group with Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Hungary. The matches will take place between September 11 and 16 in Ukraine.

Moldova coach Denis Melnicov proposed the following lineup for these games: Cristina Musteaţă, Ludmila Caraman, Doina Ciobanu, Natalia Clipca, Bianca Druță, Nadejda Kolesnichenko, Cristina Cerescu, Irina Topal, Dumitriţa Prisăcari, Valeria Rusu, Ana Arnautu, and Anastasia Melnic.
