The driver’s licenses issued in Moldova will be soon recognized in Turkey as well. The Cabinet approved the initiation of negotiations with this country on the conversion and reciprocal recognition of driver’s licenses, IPN reports.

The initiative was put forward by the Turkish side following approaches made by Moldovan citizens working in different areas in Turkey, including the transport sector.

Earlier, talks on the issue were initiated with France, Spain, and Lithuania. The driver’s licenses of Moldovans are now recognized in Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Portugal, and other countries.
