Moldova and Russia agreed to simplify the export procedure of Moldovan alcoholic goods on Russian market
Moldova and Russian Federation agreed to simplify further the certifying procedure of Moldovan alcoholic goods and preparing its export on Russian market au. The head of the state Vladimir Voronin discussed about this with the manager of the Russian holding Vinnai Mir, Piotr Kanaghin, and chairman of the Union of Participants to Alcoholic Drinks of Russian Federation, Osman Paragulikov.
According to press service of presidency of Moldova, it was underscored during the meeting the need to draft certain joint technical regulations regarding wine production of Moldova, as well as the opportunity to implement on large scale the informational technologies in export process and preparing for export of Moldovan wines and divines in Russian Federation.
They have mentioned the fact that, in spite of appeared difficulties as result of modification of certain legislative acts in Russia, Moldovan wine and divine export in the first two months of this year did not suffer in this country.
According to a decision adopted by the Russian government, starting on 1 April 2006, the wines export with old stamps will not be possible.
The amount of the exports of Moldovan wines was in 2005 - 313 million dollars, increasing with 12% compared to 2004. The quota of Moldovan wines on the market of Russian Federation is about 70%. Moldova is on 11 spot in the top of world wine exporters. Average wine exports of Moldova are about 150 million litres per year.
