Moldova will offer 25 scholarships, while Romania 50 scholarships within a program of cooperation in the area of short-term academic mobility for students and applicants for a master’s degree of accredited state institutions of the two states.
The Government of Moldova approved the initiation of relevant negotiations and the signing of the program of cooperation and assistance between the Ministry of Education of Moldova and the Ministry of National Education of Romania, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Education of Moldova will need 450,000 lei for providing mobility scholarships to Romanian students who will study in Moldova within this university exchange program.
The program also envisions cooperation in implementing the National Qualifications Framework, promoting reforms in secondary vocational education and assessing the teachers’ performance. The activities were planned for a three-year period.
