Moldova and Belarus to reciprocally protect secret infromation

Moldova’s Parliament is to ratify the agreement with Belarus concerning the protection of secret information. The director of the Security and Intelligence Service Mihai Balan said this accord will allow keeping secret especially the information needed for investigating transfrontier crimes, IPN reports.

The bill is to be endorsed by the parliamentary commissions. Under the legislation and the agreement that is to be ratified, the sides will take measures to protect the secret information and the carriers of such information. If secret information is revealed on the territory of one of the sides, this side will inform the other side about the case.

The accord was signed for an indefinite period.
