Moldova Ambassador to Azerbaijan to hold concurrent accreditation to Georgia

Ion Robu, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Moldova to Azerbaijan, will concurrently hold the office of ambassador to Georgia, with residence in Baku. A decision in this respect was taken by the Cabinet on Tuesday, May 8. The proposal was made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. The draft is to be sent to President Vladimir Voronin for approval. Ion Robu was appointed as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Moldova to Azerbaijan in April 2006. Earlier, he worked as chairman of the National Securities Commission for 7 years.
