Moldova is interested in attracting Danish investments to the national economy, Prime Minister Iurie Leanca said in a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Denmark Martin Lidegaard, who is in Chisinau on a two-day visit, IPN reports, quoting the Government’s press service.
The officials discussed possibilities of intensifying bilateral trade, Moldova’s European agenda and the effort made to connect the energy systems to the European ones, which will result in crucial changes for Moldova, according to the Danish minister.
Martin Lidegaard reiterated that Denmark supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Moldova. He noted that he visited Moldova as a tourist in 2008, underlining that things have improved since then.
The Danish foreign minister is paying a visit to Moldova at the invitation of his Moldovan counterpart Natalia Gherman.
