Moldova-Agroindbank was designated as the winner of the public tender contest to take over the accounts of the state treasury from Banca de Economii, which is under liquidation, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Finance said Moldova-Agroindbank was selected in a public tender contest held to choose a bank that will provide services to the local treasuries.

Banca de Economii is being liquidated together with Banca Sociala and Unibank following the stealing of about €1 billion through their agency.
