Moldova 1 – the television channel financed from the taxpayers’ money – will relay a new soap opera from summer. “Dame Chocolate” is a Columbian-American-Spanish production that has 150 episodes. Tatiana Vlas, TV program director at the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova”, has told Info-Prim Neo that the soap opera was produced in 2007, directed by Luis Manzo. The key parts are played by Carlos Ponce, Genesis Rodriguez, Maria Antonieta De Las Nieves and Ricardo Chavez. “We have not yet decided whether to dub or subtitle the movie,” Tatiana Vlas said. The film will replace the soap opera “Gardener’s Daughter” that was broadcast until the start of April at 21.40. The movie “Passion Fire” is rebroadcast in the meantime. There will be also bought 38 feature films for children and the family, including “Zorro”, “Harry Potter”, “Titanic”, “Anna and the Kind”, “La vita e Bella” etc. “ “When choosing the movies, we took into account the cast, the production year and the theme. We cannot broadcast violent or erotic films so that we chose educative movies, for the family,” the TV program director said. According to her, the company also plans to broadcast a German mini-serial and animated cartoons for the “evening tale”. 1 million lei will be allocated for renewing the video archive of the public broadcaster, Tatiana Vlas said.
