Moldova 1 could stop night broadcasting
The public TV channel Moldova 1 could halt the night broadcasting (from 00.00 until 6.00) in order to make savings. The announcement was made by the TV program director at the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova” Tatiana Vlas at the last meeting of the Supervisory Board, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“The financial situation is rather precarious and we will try to economize so as we could work at full capacity from September,” Vlas said. She also said that the programs that will be broadcast during summer will include concerts, performances and movies that have been shown before so as to make the schedule more attractive.
For the period between April 15 and September 15, the Supervisory Board approved the same broadcast schedule as before. “This broadcast was compiled during over a year in a rather logical way,” Tatiana Vlas argued. She also said that the audience diminishes in summer owing to vacation and leave. Therefore, they should first repair the offices and return to new projects in autumn.
