A large variety of school supplies, bags, accessories, footwear and clothing is on display during August 18—September 3 at the School Fair hosted by Moldexpo. Vendors promise visitors will find here everything needed for school at the most affordable prices.

Simple copybooks can be bought for as little as 0.8 leu. More expensive copybooks of 24 pages and more can reach 9 lei apiece. Drawing albums are selling for 15 lei, and sets of 7 pieces of colored cardboard cost 11 lei. An average pencil can be bought for 5 lei and solid glue costs 5-9 lei.

School bags and backpacks for both girls and boys range in price from 250 lei for simpler models to 1,200 lei for orthopedic ones.

A boy’s three-piece can be bought for 320-650 lei, and leather shoes for girls have price tags ranging from 400 to 600 lei.

Organizers say the fair will feature school uniform-themed fashion shows.

The School Fair will run everyday from 10:00AM to 6:00PM until September 3.
