Moldagrotech and Farmer exhibitions brings together over 300 participants

Advanced technologies and innovations, tools and equipment made in Moldova, Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Germany, are on show at the 23th editions of the specialized exhibition Moldagrotech. 123 companies participate, 35 of which for the first time. Meanwhile, the Farmer exhibition gathered 200 companies at its 15th edition, including 20 new participants, Info-Prim Neo reports. Prime Minister Vlad Filat said during the opening of the event that the exhibited technologies and equipment pieces were really impressive and he hoped he would see them on Moldova’s fields. “Since 2011, we have imported 1640 tractors, 171 combines, 3420 farming equipment pieces and 271 irrigation systems. If we want to obtain good results, we must continue this work”, he declared. Alexandru Slusari, UniAgroProiect chairman, said that the exhibitions offer a good opportunity for farmers to learn the latest news in the field of agricultural technology, equipment, fertilizers and other necessary products. In his opinion, it would be better if the two exhibitions took place separately. Farmer could take place at the end of August of beginning of September, while Moldagrotech should continue in October. This would offer more room for professional debates. The additional program of the two exhibitions includes seminars of the topic of developing the fields of table grapes, ecological agriculture and origin products in Moldova. The Polish Embassy in Moldova will organize a seminar regarding the prospects of collaboration in the food and farming field in the EU and Poland. Visitors will be able to attend the exhibition-fair Animal Show, where they can buy various food products, as well as saplings of fruit and decorative trees, and flowers.
