Modern TC scanner installed at first primary stroke center

Patients with stroke from Căușeni district have access to computed tomography scans closer to homes in an office that was renovated with the assistance of the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) after the Căușeni District Hospital “Ana and Alexandru” was chosen to provide medical assistance to patients with acute stroke, IPN reports.

The repair works were executed in the framework of an investment project financed with resources from the CNAM’s fund for the development and modernization of public health care providers.

“The creation of conditions for computed tomography scans contributes to improving the quality of medical assistance provided to patients with acute stroke, severe traumas and tumors. The persons in a critical state will have access to a modern diagnosis method close to their homes. The Căușeni District Hospital will offer qualified assistance to persons with stroke from three districts - Căușeni, Ștefan Vodă, and Slobozia,” said the CNAM.

The total value of the project is about 2.3 million lei. The CNAM’s contribution is 2 million lei of this sum.
