The Ocnița District Hospital was outfitted with high-precision medical equipment bought with Japanese funds within the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects Scheme “Kusanone”, IPN reports.
Japan’s Ambassador to Moldova Masanobu Yoshii will visit the Ocnița District Council on October 12, starting at 1pm, to collect facts about the results of the project. The value of the donation is over US$ 75,000.
The medical institution was outfitted with equipment that will strengthen its capacity to perform laboratory examinations, to diagnose and treat gastroenterological diseases and to offer high-quality imaging services.
The “Kusanone” program was launched in Moldova in 2008.
