The Public Garden “Ștefan cel Mare şi Sfânt” on September 23 will turn into a modern library for several hours. The municipal library “B.P. Hasdeu” invites the citizens to take part in different interactive events and to learn about the services and opportunities from which the national public libraries benefit, IPN reports.

According to the municipal library, different demonstrative activities and masterclasses on robotics, coding, virtual reality, digital fabrication and sport, health tests, educational activities and contests will be staged there. Those who want could take part in creation workshops, presentations and interactive exhibitions. There will be set up a number of areas, such as the Technologies Library, Reading Library, Study Library, Game Library and Music and Dance Library.

The event is held within the nationwide awareness-raising campaign on the modernization of public libraries “It’s My Library” that is designed to underline the changes and innovations witnessed at the national public libraries during the last few years and to promote the new law on libraries.

Access to the events is free of charge.
