Mobile teams of specialists of the nationwide campaign “A doctor for you”, which include endocrinologists, ophthalmologists, otorhinolaryngologists, neurologists and cardiologists, started work in localities. They provide free medical advice to all those who want to have their state of health checked, IPN reports.

The first mobile team of doctors this year went to the health center in Peresecina and Morozeni villages of Orhei district. Secretary general of state Boris Gîlca visited the team of doctors. “In 2019, the campaign “A doctor for you” will reach all the villages of the country so that each citizen who wants could benefit from free medical consultations. During the five months of the launch of the campaign, we managed to prevent a number of serious diseases,” stated Boris Gîlca, being quoted in a press release of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.

The campaign “A doctor for you” was started in August 2018 to increase the rural population’s access to specialized services. About 38,700 persons benefitted from free medical consultations as part of this campaign so far.
