Mobile signature no longer free service

The mobile signature for signing documents from a distance, through the agency of the mobile phone, is provided for money from July. The mobile phone carriers already posted the charges. The lowest one is 10 lei, IPN reports.

The two mobile phone operators that provide the mobile signature service levy the same charges. The charge for 10 signatures that can be used for a month is 10 lei. The persons who will need 50 signatures will pay 30 lei, 200 signatures - 50 lei, while 500 signatures - 70 lei. The business mobile signature for legal entities costs 50 lei for 1,000 signatures a month.

According to the communication coordinator of the Electronic Governance Center Ilona Spataru, 4,010 signatures have been bought until now. Most of the users of this service are economic entities. The mobile signature can be used to electronically report to the National Health Insurance Company and the National Social Insurance House (e-CNAM and e-CNAS), to apply for licenses to the Licensing Chamber (e-Licentiere) and to submit income statements online (Electronic statement). The electronic services that will be launched in the future and will require the holder’s signature will be connected to the mobile signature service.

The mobile signature was free of charge until June 30.
