Mobile medical care units will work in Chisinau during hot days
Mobile medical care units will measure blood pressure and give first aid to people in the street during hot days. The first six teams of the kind work in the square of the UNIC Department Store, at the station located at the intersection of Stefan cel Mare Blvd. and Armeneasca St, at the intersection of Stefan cel Mare Blvd. and Pushkin St, where there is also a tank with spring water, at the station situated near “Ion Creanga” University, at the intersection of the streets Columna and Bulgara, and at the intersection of the boulevards Dacia and Decebal, near the flower market, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the Health Division head Mihai Moldovanu, the mobile units will work from 8.00pm until 5.00pm in two shifts. 16-17 units more will start work in the near future, including in the markets that are far from medical institutions. A medical worker will measure the blood pressure of those who want in the halls of medical institutions.
Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca said the mobile medical care units were set up with the support of the Central Market and SA Apa-Canal Chisinau. He voiced hope that other municipal services and companies will also engage in this activity.
