On Saturday, November 7, at Auxiliary School No. 6 in Chisinau, were held festivities to celebrate 20 years since the founding of the "Special Olympics" Moldova movement.
"Special Olympics" Moldova is a public organization which aims to integrate into society people with intellectual disabilities through training programs and competitions. In 1994 the movement was recognized by the international organization "Special Olympics" and since 1995 participates with its disciples at European and world championships, winning numerous awards and medals in mini football, field and table tennis, swimming, athletics, volleyball competitions.
On the occasion of this anniversary, Mobiasbanca has supported "Special Olympics" Moldova and attended the Jubilee celebration with gifts for the school disciples, winners of international competitions and athletes, along with coaches, representatives of sports federations, partners and guests of honor.
Within the event Alexandra Danilenco, President of "Special Olympics" Moldova, thanked the partners who stand by the athletes of the movement, giving them the chance to play sports and participate in various competitions abroad.
Being present at the event, Minister of Youth and Sports, Loreta Handrabura offered diplomas to the leadership and coaches of the movement in the name of the Government, thanking them for their efforts and dedication to the development of potential and integrating children with disabilities into society
