“Mitica is our man” play put on with support Anticorruption Center and ministries
The Anticorruption Center (CCCEC), NGO Transparency International and several ministries will support the production of the play “Mitica is our man”, which is directed by Alina Lungu-Turcanu. In a communique, the CCCEC says the play is about the vices of the Moldovan system, from drugs to corruption, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The CCCEC, civil society and the ministries expressed interest in the play and the issues addressed by it and decided to contribute to the launch of the play within possibilities.
“Mitica is our man” tells the sad story of a family of intellectuals, whose sun becomes a drug addict. Their house was robbed and several criminals faked the kidnapping and even death of their sun, extorting a large sum of money from them. The boy's parents seek help from an employee of the Ministry of the Interior called Mitica.
The play will be put up at Mihai Eminescu Theater. Only those who have invitations will be able to see the play on April 15. On April 16 and 17, entrance will be free of charge.
