A girl aged three from Otaci town of Ocnița district went missing in the afternoon of December 15. The police immediately launched searches and these continued until morning. The child was found at about 9am and was rushed to the hospital by an ambulance.

The girl left the yard of their home at about 4pm and disappeared.

Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the General Police Inspectorate Diana Fetco said the police and locals looked for the girl all night long, with devices that enable to search at night.

The girl was found at a distance of about 400 meters from home, in a sand quarry where she spent the night.
