The Social-Democratic candidate for the post of President of Romania Mircea Geoana polled the largest number of votes, according to results of the INSOMAR exit poll announced at 21.00, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting www.realitatea.net. Mircea Geoana gained 51.6% of the vote, while his opponent Traian Basescu, of the PDL – 48.4%. The results are based on the data collected by 19.00. INSOMAR will make known the next results at 23.00. They will be based on the data obtained until the closing of the polling stations.
