Minors injured in collision between sled and car
Two minors received different injuries when the sled that they were riding crashed into a car.
Senior Traffic Police inspector Ion Roscovanu informed Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened in Ermoclia village of Stefan Voda district. The sled ran into a Nissan Primera car driven by a 39-year-old man, damaging it.
As there is much snow, the children transformed many country roads into sledding tracks. Ion Roscovanu warns the parents about the risks to which the children are exposed. “The parents should know where their children go sledding in order to prevent tragedies. The children should use known roads, not covered with snow, where there are no vehicles traveling on them,” he said.
Also, a woman aged 66 was struck by a Hyundai Getz on Gheorghe Casu St in Chisinau. She was taken to the Emergency Hospital with dislocation of the right shoulder and contusion of the head in the occipital region.
Two road accidents with three persons injured and 36 accidents with no victims happened in Moldova on January 25.
