A minor aged 17 from Sangerei district during three days kept the police and rescuers on the alert as he mounted a billboard located in Rascani district of Chisinau and threatened he will jump out. On February 2, Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca also went up the billboard and convinced the young man to descend and discuss. The information was confirmed for IPN by the press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati.

Natalia Stati said the psychiatrists who discussed with the minor said that this is competent and cannot be hospitalized. However, the minor often ran away from home and came to Chisinau, where he is a vagrant. He does not accept to stay at placement centers and his mother cannot influence him.

As the boy is a minor, he cannot be penalized for his deeds. Natalia Stati stated that when the young man is taken down from the billboard, he does not explain his acts. He is then taken to the police inspectorate, where he discusses with psychologists and social workers.
