A nine-year-old boy lost his balance when he was riding a bike and fell under the wheels of a truck  that was performing repair works on a road in Cotiujenii Mici village of Sangerei district. It happened on June 27. The child was taken to the hospital, but didn’t survive.

Contacted by IPN, press officer of the Sangerei Police Inspectorate Liliana Harea said the boy tried to overtake the truck, but lost his balance and fell under the back wheels of the vehicle.

A criminal case was started over this incident.
