A 7-year-old boy was struck by a BMW car on Monday, at 18.30, on the Sarmizegetusa St. and as a result he got scratches on both shanks and knees. Two drivers suffered head traumas after a road accident that occurred this morning in Ciocana district of Chisinau. Chisinau Emergency Service doctor-coordinator Eufalia Negreata, informed Info-Prim Neo that the accident took place at 8.00 hrs at the crossroad of Ginta Latina St. and Mihai Sadoveanu. A Mazda violently collided with a BMW auto. The drivers, aged 26 and 34, got head traumas, but refused to be hospitalised. A taxi and a minibus collided on Monday, at 22.30 hrs, at the crossroad between Academiei St. and Ghoeghe Asachi St. As a result, the passenger, a 52-year-old man, was admitted to hospital with brain concussion. A 42-year-old woman died because of a gastrointestinal internal bleeding. The previous day, the Chisinau Emergency Service received 700 calls for assistance, including in 68 trauma cases, 21 cases of acute diarrhoea, 4 strokes and 2 heart attacks.
