Minor girl gives birth to baby boy

A minor girl gave birth to a baby in the ambulance on May 5. Eufalia Negreata, doctor-coordinator of the Emergency Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 17-year-old girl living in Straseni district came to visit her relatives in Stauceni village in the municipality of Chisinau. At a certain moment, the girl told her relatives that she has stomachaches and probably got poisoned with food. The ambulance doctors established that the girl was pregnant and would soon give birth. On the way to hospital, she gave birth to a baby boy. Both of them have been hospitalized. After suffering arterial hypertension and traumas of the legs, 62 persons appealed for help to the ambulance staff that worked during two days in cemeteries. Thirty persons needed medical assistance in Saint Lazar Cemetery on Sunday, May 4, and 25 persons – on Monday, May 5. Five persons asked for help while in the Central Cemetery located on Armeneasca Street on Sunday and four persons – on Monday. An unidentified woman in her 50s was found dead on May 5 on Costesti Street. A 55-year-old woman was found in a trolleybus station with coma of unknown etiology and cranial-cerebral trauma. A woman aged 48 suffering from epilepsy died after abusing alcohol. Yesterday, the Chisinau Emergency Service recorded 730 phone calls, dealing with 3 cases of heart attacks and five cases of brain stroke.
