A man aged 44 from Basarabeasca is suspected of sexually exploiting his daughter aged 14. The police have followed this for a month and established that profiting from the girl’s age and from the fact that she was in his care, the man had forced his daughter to prostitute herself during two years, IPN reports.

Earlier, the man was sentenced to 15 years in jail for causing serious bodily injuries that led to the victim’s death. He was set free ten years ago. Head of the press service of the National Investigations Inspectorate Diana Sochirca said the girl lived with her father and her stepsisters. The girl’s mother abandoned her long ago.

The man forced his daughter to prostitute herself in their home. The authorities placed the girl in a rehabilitation center in Chisinau.

So far the police have identified a man aged 57 who had sex with the minor for money. He and the girl’s father were arrested for 30 days.
