The pregnant woman was taken to the hospital for detox. It is not yet known if the fetus was affected. A man aged 51 died suddenly. A 67-year-old woman had the same fate. She was on a visit to a family in Ciocana district. According to the doctors, the woman might have died as a result of alcohol abuse. The man is said to have been an alcoholic. On October 22, the Chisinau ambulance teams dealt with 664 emergencies, including 39 cases of acute viral infection, 29 cases of pneumonia, 63 cases of trauma, seven strokes, and 26 deliveries.
