The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection proposed a draft decision to declare March 7 (Monday) a day off and March 12 (Sunday) a working day instead of it for public debates, IPN reports.
If the decision is adopted, the public sector employees will have a mini-vacation during March 5-8. March 8, when the International Women’s Day is celebrated, is officially a nonworking day.
The decision is aimed at enabling salary earners to optimally use the day off and the nonworking days in 2022.
A similar decision to declare March 7 a day off and March 12 a working day instead of it was implemented in 2016.
