The political party Renastere-Возрождение (Renewal), co-presided by former Communists Vadim Mishin and Vasile Tarlev, has obtained formal registration with the Ministry of Justice after submitting an application to this end exactly one month ago, Info-Prim Neo reports. The party said in a press release that its registration was possible after it provided evidence that its membership was twice the required minimum of 4,000 members. The party has representatives in 28 districts. At its inaugural Congress on September 15, the party elected MP Vadim Mishin and ex-Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev its co-presidents. Vadim Mishin announced the intention to form a party after leaving the Communists in spring, along with MPs Oleg Babenko and Tatiana Botnariuk.
